|
وَمَآ أَمْرُنَآ إِلَّا وَٰحِدَةٌ كَلَمْحٍۭ بِٱلْبَصَرِ |
50 And Our command is but one — as the twinkling of an eye[...].1 |
|
|
وَلَقَدْ أَهْلَكْنَآ أَشْيَاعَكُمْ فَهَلْ مِن مُّدَّكِرٍ |
51 And We have destroyed your sects1 before,2 so is there any who will remember? |
|
|
وَكُلُّ شَىْءٍ فَعَلُوهُ فِى ٱلزُّبُرِ |
52 And everything they did is in the writings.1 |
|
|
وَكُلُّ صَغِيرٍ وَكَبِيرٍ مُّسْتَطَرٌ |
53 And everything, small and great, is inscribed. |
|
|
إِنَّ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ فِى جَنَّـٰتٍ وَنَهَرٍ |
54 Those of prudent fear1 will be among gardens and a river, |
|
|
فِى مَقْعَدِ صِدْقٍ عِندَ مَلِيكٍ مُّقْتَدِرٍۭ |
55 In a seat of honour,1 in the presence of an Omnipotent Sovereign. |
