بِسْمِ ٱللَّـهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ |
In the name of God, the Almighty,1 the Merciful. |
|
|
أَلْهَىٰكُمُ ٱلتَّكَاثُرُ |
1022 1 The competition for increase1 diverts you |
|
|
حَتَّىٰ زُرْتُمُ ٱلْمَقَابِرَ |
2 Until you visit the graves. |
|
|
كَلَّا سَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ |
3 No, indeed!1 You will come to know. |
|
|
ثُمَّ كَلَّا سَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ |
4 Then no, indeed!1 You will come to know. |
|
|
كَلَّا لَوْ تَعْلَمُونَ عِلْمَ ٱلْيَقِينِ |
5 No, indeed!1 If you had known with the knowledge of certainty[...].2 |
|
|
لَتَرَوُنَّ ٱلْجَحِيمَ |
6 You will see Hell. |
|
|
ثُمَّ لَتَرَوُنَّهَا عَيْنَ ٱلْيَقِينِ |
7 Then will you see it with the eye of certainty. |
|
|
ثُمَّ لَتُسْـَٔلُنَّ يَوْمَئِذٍ عَنِ ٱلنَّعِيمِ |
8 Then, that day, will you be questioned about bliss.1 |
