|
بِسْمِ ٱللَّـهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ |
In the name of God, the Almighty,1 the Merciful. |
|
|
وَٱلضُّحَىٰ |
932 1 By the morning light! |
|
|
وَٱلَّيْلِ إِذَا سَجَىٰ |
2 And by the night when it shrouds in darkness!1 |
|
|
مَا وَدَّعَكَ رَبُّكَ وَمَا قَلَىٰ |
3 Thy Lord has neither forsaken nor loathed thee. |
|
|
وَلَلْـَٔاخِرَةُ خَيْرٌ لَّكَ مِنَ ٱلْأُولَىٰ |
||
|
وَلَسَوْفَ يُعْطِيكَ رَبُّكَ فَتَرْضَىٰٓ |
5 And thy Lord will give to thee, and thou wilt be satisfied. |
|
|
أَلَمْ يَجِدْكَ يَتِيمًا فَـَٔاوَىٰ |
6 Did He not find thee fatherless,1 and give shelter, |
|
|
وَوَجَدَكَ ضَآلًّا فَهَدَىٰ |
7 And find thee astray,1 and guide, |
|
|
وَوَجَدَكَ عَآئِلًا فَأَغْنَىٰ |
8 And find thee in need, and make sufficient? |
|
|
فَأَمَّا ٱلْيَتِيمَ فَلَا تَقْهَرْ |
9 Then as for the fatherless:1 oppress thou not. |
|
|
وَأَمَّا ٱلسَّآئِلَ فَلَا تَنْهَرْ |
10 And as for the petitioner:1 repel thou not. |
|
|
وَأَمَّا بِنِعْمَةِ رَبِّكَ فَحَدِّثْ |
11 And as for the favour of thy Lord: recount thou! |
