|
وَقَالُوا۟ لَوْلَآ أُنزِلَ عَلَيْهِ ءَايَـٰتٌ مِّن رَّبِّهِۦ قُلْ إِنَّمَا ٱلْـَٔايَـٰتُ عِندَ ٱللَّـهِ وَإِنَّمَآ أَنَا۠ نَذِيرٌ مُّبِينٌ |
50 And they say: “Oh, that proofs1 were but2 sent down upon him from his Lord!” Say thou: “The proofs3 are only with God, and I am only a clear warner.” |
|
|
أَوَلَمْ يَكْفِهِمْ أَنَّآ أَنزَلْنَا عَلَيْكَ ٱلْكِتَـٰبَ يُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِمْ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَرَحْمَةً وَذِكْرَىٰ لِقَوْمٍ يُؤْمِنُونَ |
51 Does it not suffice them that We have sent down upon thee the Writ1 recited to them? In that is a mercy and a reminder for people who believe. |
|
|
قُلْ كَفَىٰ بِٱللَّـهِ بَيْنِى وَبَيْنَكُمْ شَهِيدًا يَعْلَمُ مَا فِى ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ بِٱلْبَـٰطِلِ وَكَفَرُوا۟ بِٱللَّـهِ أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْخَـٰسِرُونَ |
52 Say thou: “God is sufficient between me and you as witness.” He knows what is in the heavens and the earth; and those who believe in1 vanity and deny God, it is they who are the losers. |
|
|
وَيَسْتَعْجِلُونَكَ بِٱلْعَذَابِ وَلَوْلَآ أَجَلٌ مُّسَمًّى لَّجَآءَهُمُ ٱلْعَذَابُ وَلَيَأْتِيَنَّهُم بَغْتَةً وَهُمْ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ |
53 And they ask thee to hasten the punishment! And were it not for a stated term, the punishment would have come upon them; and it will come upon them unexpectedly, when they perceive not. |

|
يَسْتَعْجِلُونَكَ بِٱلْعَذَابِ وَإِنَّ جَهَنَّمَ لَمُحِيطَةٌۢ بِٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ |
54 They ask thee to hasten the punishment! And Gehenna will encompass the false claimers of guidance1 |
|
|
يَوْمَ يَغْشَىٰهُمُ ٱلْعَذَابُ مِن فَوْقِهِمْ وَمِن تَحْتِ أَرْجُلِهِمْ وَيَقُولُ ذُوقُوا۟ مَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ |
55 The day the punishment covers them from above them and from beneath their feet, and He will say: “Taste what you did!” |
|
|
يَـٰعِبَادِىَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ إِنَّ أَرْضِى وَٰسِعَةٌ فَإِيَّـٰىَ فَٱعْبُدُونِ |
56 O My servants who heed warning:1 My earth is spacious;2 so Me — serve you Me. |
|
|
كُلُّ نَفْسٍ ذَآئِقَةُ ٱلْمَوْتِ ثُمَّ إِلَيْنَا تُرْجَعُونَ |
57 Every soul will taste death; then to Us will you be returned. |
|
|
وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ لَنُبَوِّئَنَّهُم مِّنَ ٱلْجَنَّةِ غُرَفًا تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَـٰرُ خَـٰلِدِينَ فِيهَا نِعْمَ أَجْرُ ٱلْعَـٰمِلِينَ |
58 And those who heed warning1 and do righteous deeds, We will settle them in high chambers of the Garden beneath which rivers flow, they abiding eternally therein. Excellent is the reward of those who act,2 |
|
|
ٱلَّذِينَ صَبَرُوا۟ وَعَلَىٰ رَبِّهِمْ يَتَوَكَّلُونَ |
59 Those who are patient, and in their Lord place their trust. |
|
|
وَكَأَيِّن مِّن دَآبَّةٍ لَّا تَحْمِلُ رِزْقَهَا ٱللَّـهُ يَرْزُقُهَا وَإِيَّاكُمْ وَهُوَ ٱلسَّمِيعُ ٱلْعَلِيمُ |
60 And how many a creature bears not its provision! God provides for it and for you; and He is the Hearing, the Knowing. |

|
وَلَئِن سَأَلْتَهُم مَّنْ خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ وَسَخَّرَ ٱلشَّمْسَ وَٱلْقَمَرَ لَيَقُولُنَّ ٱللَّـهُ فَأَنَّىٰ يُؤْفَكُونَ |
61 And if thou askest them: “Who created the heavens and the earth and made subject the sun and the moon?” they will say: “God.” How then are they deluded? |
|
|
ٱللَّـهُ يَبْسُطُ ٱلرِّزْقَ لِمَن يَشَآءُ مِنْ عِبَادِهِۦ وَيَقْدِرُ لَهُۥٓ إِنَّ ٱللَّـهَ بِكُلِّ شَىْءٍ عَلِيمٌ |
62 God expands provision for whom He wills of His servants, and He straitens for him; God knows all things. |
|
|
وَلَئِن سَأَلْتَهُم مَّن نَّزَّلَ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءً فَأَحْيَا بِهِ ٱلْأَرْضَ مِنۢ بَعْدِ مَوْتِهَا لَيَقُولُنَّ ٱللَّـهُ قُلِ ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّـهِ بَلْ أَكْثَرُهُمْ لَا يَعْقِلُونَ |
63 And if thou askest them: “Who sends down water from the sky, and therewith gives life to the earth after its death?” they will say: “God.” Say thou: “Praise belongs to God.” The truth is,1 most of them do not reason. |

|
وَمَا هَـٰذِهِ ٱلْحَيَوٰةُ ٱلدُّنْيَآ إِلَّا لَهْوٌ وَلَعِبٌ وَإِنَّ ٱلدَّارَ ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةَ لَهِىَ ٱلْحَيَوَانُ لَوْ كَانُوا۟ يَعْلَمُونَ |
64 And the life of this world is only play and games; and the abode of the Hereafter: that is Life, did they but know. |
|
|
فَإِذَا رَكِبُوا۟ فِى ٱلْفُلْكِ دَعَوُا۟ ٱللَّـهَ مُخْلِصِينَ لَهُ ٱلدِّينَ فَلَمَّا نَجَّىٰهُمْ إِلَى ٱلْبَرِّ إِذَا هُمْ يُشْرِكُونَ |
65 Then when they embark on the ship, they call to God, sincere to Him in doctrine;1 but when He delivers them to the land, then they ascribe a partnership,2 |
|
|
لِيَكْفُرُوا۟ بِمَآ ءَاتَيْنَـٰهُمْ وَلِيَتَمَتَّعُوا۟ فَسَوْفَ يَعْلَمُونَ |
66 That they might deny what We gave them, and enjoy themselves. But they will come to know! |
|
|
أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا۟ أَنَّا جَعَلْنَا حَرَمًا ءَامِنًا وَيُتَخَطَّفُ ٱلنَّاسُ مِنْ حَوْلِهِمْ أَفَبِٱلْبَـٰطِلِ يُؤْمِنُونَ وَبِنِعْمَةِ ٱللَّـهِ يَكْفُرُونَ |
67 Have they not considered1 that We appointed a sanctuary secure,2 while men were swept away round about them? Do they then believe in3 vanity, and deny the favour of God? |
|
|
وَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّنِ ٱفْتَرَىٰ عَلَى ٱللَّـهِ كَذِبًا أَوْ كَذَّبَ بِٱلْحَقِّ لَمَّا جَآءَهُۥٓ أَلَيْسَ فِى جَهَنَّمَ مَثْوًى لِّلْكَـٰفِرِينَ |
68 And who is more unjust than he who invents a lie about God, or denies the truth1 when it comes to him? Is then there not2 in Gehenna a home for the false claimers of guidance?3 |
|
|
وَٱلَّذِينَ جَـٰهَدُوا۟ فِينَا لَنَهْدِيَنَّهُمْ سُبُلَنَا وَإِنَّ ٱللَّـهَ لَمَعَ ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ |
69 And those who strive for Us: We will guide them to Our paths; and God is with the doers of good. |
