¹⁰⁰ They have therein roaring;¹ and therein they hear not.²

¹⁰¹ Those for whom the best from Us has preceded — those are from it far removed;

¹⁰² They hear not a whisper¹ thereof;² and they in what their souls desired abide eternally.

¹⁰³ The greatest terror will not grieve them, and the angels will receive them: — “This is your day which you were promised” —

¹⁰⁴ The day We fold up the heaven like the folding up of a scroll for the writs.¹ As We began the first creation, We will repeat it — a promise binding upon² Us. Truly, We are the doers.³

¹⁰⁵ And We decreed in the Psalms¹ after the remembrance:² “My righteous servants will inherit the earth.”

¹⁰⁶ In this¹ is a notification for people who serve.²

¹⁰⁷ And We sent thee only as a mercy for all mankind.

¹⁰⁸ Say thou: “It is revealed¹ to me that your God is One God. Will you then be submitting?”²

¹⁰⁹ And if they turn away, say thou: “I have proclaimed to you all alike;¹ and I know not whether near or far is what you are promised.

¹¹⁰ “He knows what is public of speech, and He knows what you conceal.

¹¹¹ “And I know not; it might be a means of denial¹ for you and enjoyment for a time.”

¹¹² Say thou:¹ “My Lord: judge Thou with justice.² And our Lord is the Almighty,³ the one whose aid is sought against what you describe.”⁴
