|
بِسْمِ ٱللَّـهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ |
In the name of God, the Almighty,1 the Merciful. |
|
|
وَٱلْعَـٰدِيَـٰتِ ضَبْحًا |
1002 1 By the chargers snorting! |
|
|
فَٱلْمُورِيَـٰتِ قَدْحًا |
2 And by the strikers of sparks of fire! |
|
|
فَٱلْمُغِيرَٰتِ صُبْحًا |
3 And by the raiders at dawn |
|
|
فَأَثَرْنَ بِهِۦ نَقْعًا |
4 Raising thereby dust |
|
|
فَوَسَطْنَ بِهِۦ جَمْعًا |
5 Then breaching thereby the midst together! |
|
|
إِنَّ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ لِرَبِّهِۦ لَكَنُودٌ |
6 Man is ungrateful to his Lord, |
|
|
وَإِنَّهُۥ عَلَىٰ ذَٰلِكَ لَشَهِيدٌ |
7 And he is to that a witness. |
|
|
وَإِنَّهُۥ لِحُبِّ ٱلْخَيْرِ لَشَدِيدٌ |
8 But in love of wealth is he strong. |
|
|
أَفَلَا يَعْلَمُ إِذَا بُعْثِرَ مَا فِى ٱلْقُبُورِ |
9 Does he then not1 know when what is in the graves is overturned |
|
|
وَحُصِّلَ مَا فِى ٱلصُّدُورِ |
10 And what is in the breasts obtained |
|
|
إِنَّ رَبَّهُم بِهِمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ لَّخَبِيرٌۢ |
11 Their Lord of them, that day, will be aware!1 |
